This site was provided free of charge for the Llantwit Major Chamber of Trade and Commerce by Rob Renee of RIDAD Internet Solutions, part of Sure Solutions Limited. The company, formerly based in Wine Street in Llantwit Major (now of Vale Business Park, Cowbridge) and have also designed the Llantwit-Major.net Tourist Information site (aka "The Llantwit Major Website") as well as the Llantwit Major Town Council, SMILE and Llantwit Major Victorian Fair websites. Talks are also underway to produce a Llantwit Major Fairtrade website in the current drive forward to gain Fairtrade status for Llantwit Major.

As a local entrepreneur and member of the Chamber, Rob Renée felt that the site would benefit the local area and traders of the Town, keep visitors involved of the Chambers actions and make it easier for members to keep up to date with issues and projects. Although there has been a lot of design time and admin, it is hoped that this site will be well received and used by everyone so making the effort worthwhile.

The site held information on all of the members of the Chamber, their contact details, a diary of events, minutes of past meetings, useful links and details of projects the Chamber is running or participating in. So why is it no longer the official site?
